The mid-term holidays (Easter holiday) is coming to the end. I have did nothing at all but to procrastinate every single day. No revisions were done. No follow-ups. Nothing. Absolutely 0.

I've wasted 8 days of my life just like that, for nothing.
(excluding the day we went traveling along the Great Ocean Road)

Hot hot chicken shit

Just came back from the gym, thought of writing something before I start my never ending cycle of eating and washing up again. Today is my chest day. As usual, I went there, grabbed a pairs of dumbbells and start doing bench press. After warming up, I gradually increase the weight between sets and finally to 27.5kgs (2.5kgs more than my usual max weight) without much difficulties. Maybe I should consider 30 for the next time.. Anyway, after 3 sets, my left shoulder was starting to signal me that it is still in the recovery period. So, I decided to switch to cardio exercise for the rest of the day.

While I was resting at the side, I noticed one of my friend was teaming up with his buddy again to spot each other's workout. It was kind of funny cause whenever my friend is working out, his buddy would spot and gave him lots of motivation like : 'come on', 'push', 'you're doing great', 'one more, one more', 'easy, easy', 'you can do it', 'dont give up', 'two more to go' and then keep on repeating the same thing for like 30 times in less than a minute. Wah, if I have such a 'motivating' spotter, I would have pulled out a gun and shoot him to oblivion even before I start my workout. Bising bangor. That's why I still prefer to workout alone with the earphones on.

Anyway, what I wanna blog today is actually my genetics lab session which I had yesterday. Ever wonder what a genetic student do in the fire-prone lab? First, we put on our lab coat which protect us from the potentially harmful chemicals and in the same time, make us easier to catch on fire. Most of the fire incidents start from the students hit and spill the alcohol unintentionally onto their long sleeves, then go near the bunsen burner and poof.... Jackpot.

The first thing we dealt with is the drosophila (fruit fly) that I mentioned in my last post. This is how it looks like when we got the specimens. They are still alive.



Yup, those tiny dots are the flies. The yellow medium at the base is made out of some banana + some basic nutrients that flies need to grow.




This is how we observe them. Put them on the white platform to get a clearer view on their eye colours, wing shapes and so on. No, we are not killers and the flies are still alive. We dont kill them just to observe their features. Then you might want to ask why arent they flying around? This is the reason.




We made them inactive first by giving them CO2... See the pipe? It is connected to the tap that leads to CO2 source. We get the CO2 gas just like how people get the gas for bunsen burner. The flies will be active again after they are removed from the CO2. But usually before that happens, we would discard them into the fly morgue and they will be dead. Muahahahaha.... there is another way of making the flies sleep, its by exposing them to ether. But this is not usually done especially by the novices, cause ether + fire will result explosion which is a lot worse than just catching fire.





This is aspergillus. A kind of fungi which we use to study the genes interaction and complementation... bla bla bla so on so forth. They got very distinguishable features which enable us to identify them easily. To grow them, you just need very little amount of spores and stab them into an agar plate with some nutrients, then they can grow and poliferate after incubation. Due to the fact that aspergillus need to be incubated, therefore experiment involving aspergillus need more than one week to be completed.

The plate above is actually provided to us by our demonstator. Thats the reason why every colony is nicely organised and there's no contamination between colonies. We do need to learn how to inoculate the aspergillus into new plates and it is really not an easy job cause the spores are too tiny and a little mistake will cause contamination everywhere in the plate.

This is also the time when fire accidents usually occur. Cause in order to inoculate aspergillus, we first sterilized the pen with metal wire attached on it by soaking it with alcohol and pass it through the flame for a brief moment. Then, we take some spores from the colony with the tip of a wire and stab it into a new agar plate. We stab the wire upwards with the agar plate facing downward to prevent the spores from spreading everywhere but still error can happens sometimes.

Our demonstrators always talk as if fire accident is no big deal. They said it does happens from time to time and when it happens in the alcohol petri dish, instead of panicking and watching the lab from burning down, please take the lid and cover the petri dish so the fire will stop. Wah, easier talk than do ler, do you think how many people can actually think of doing that when the alcohol is burning?

Hello, everyone

It has been a long time since I wrote something here.. Anyone miss me? Guess not.. Oh well nevermind. Nobody cares...

After the long holidays, I am back to Melbourne which does not has lots of major changes. Only a small amount of restaurants got replaced with the better one (This is purely an assumption). As for me, I moved out from that horrible apartment to a new accommodation which is slightly nearer to the uni. So, starting now, you all wont be able to hear my rants anymore about that organism. Haha... this should be quite a disappointment for those who cares for my sluggish EX-housemate, or the so called 'wei-siang-curse-non-stop-drama' !!

The same state library where people still sit on the grass patches where the sunlight reaches. Arent they suppose to lookout for over-exposure to UV rays?

I am staying with another guy now. A Malaysian whom I dunno comes from which state but I know his mother is a Kemaman-ians. He is a rather nice guy and currently taking his masters in RMIT. I dont have his pictures but I can tell you that he always remind me of CTZ. He is somehow similar to chen either the physical appearance (except the unique feature that make CTZ special) or the styles. The only thing that I cna complaint about him right now is probably his extra loud singings/shoutings... (he is a rocker)...

As for me, I am doing my second year now and the subjects I took are so ... erm.. specific. Principles in Genetics, Experiment in Genetics, Molecular biology and Gene, Health & Society as the breadth (junk) subject.

For Principles in Genetics and molecular biology, they are all about normal biology studies where you need to read and memorize before you enter the exam hall. And then, Experiment in Genetics should the most boring science experiment ever. This is because the living things that we would deal with are actually 3 - E.Coli, Drosophila and Aspergillus where 2 out of 3 are hardly visible things. E.Coli is some stupid bacteria that you can only observe it after it poliferates and form a colony. Meanwhile, Aspergillus is a fungi which also only visible after it grows into a colony. The biggest organism- Drosophila is actually a fruit fly aka lalat aka 'chang ying' aka 'wu ying'. In the case of Drosophila, we need to identify the males and females and then look for the mutated features like curly wing, smaller eye, different eye colours, shorter abdoment, absent of hairs on the legs and many more stupid physical features (without using any instruments like microscope). As for the junk subject, its a junk... self explainable..hahaha

I write till hungry lagi... bencinya... Hungry = eat = wash dishes/cutleries... and then after washing = hungry = eat again ... Argh.. my neverending house chores and no matter how I cleanup my room, it will be still messy everytime I come back from outside... Grrrrrr...

I guess my next post should be somewhere near Easter dy.. hahaha =P

Stupid-est Subject Ever

After a whole semester of doomsday theory (my lecturers said climate changes will lastly leads to ice age - doomsday la tu), now the tutor wants us to write an essay on something like this :

Choose one of the following statements and defend it. That is, develop a convincing argument in its favour and support your claims with data and references to expert opinion.

1. Climate change is not happening.

(Ulquiorra: Then wats the point of me studying this subject and wats the point of me writing this essay? Brainless)

2. We don’t know why climate change is happening.

(Ulquiorra: Are you telling me that all the figures, climate models and lectures you all given so far are craps?)

3. All changes to the climate are natural.

(Ulquiorra: Financial crisis is also natural. Why bother to fix it ?)

4. There is nothing that can be done about climate change.

(Ulquiorra: Do nothing then, sit there and wait to die. Its better to jump stairs and die now, less sufferings)

What the F***!! After one whole sem of brain-washing, now you want us to write something like this? Its just the same like you asking a vegetarian : Why are you not eating veges?

Yesterday, during tutorial session, the tutor said its perfectly OK for you all to disagree with the exam question and write ....

The question is not correct. Such and such is not happening and its all due to such and such.

If your answer is still making sense, you will be given marks.

I was like WTF! Are you telling me that the exam questions can be RIGHT or WRONG and how on earth am I going to sit for this kind of exams.

Did they think before how retard are they for asking me to write such an essay?

Tutor: It doesn't make any sense. That's why you got a zero.

Special post for May Tan

I was suppose to write this weeks ago... as I had promised to May Tan (pronounce as mai tan - sell egg) but because of laziness, I delayed this post again and again. So now, I am going to tunaikan janji.
(soli arr, ah may)

Actually, I knew ah May since primary school although we had never been in the same class before. This is because she was always being appointed as the class rep in her class and people just couldn't help to notice her outstanding physical appearance(a bit roundish, a bit nia.. not very much). I was not sure she knew about me or not during this time because Tay Wei Siang was really a damn low profile nooby nerd this time and Chen Han was still a cry bun (He was complaining that he dint get much exposure la.. so I ma give him some lo.. since I am a kind-hearted person)

After UPSR, we went to different secondary school. I went to SMKSS while she still continued her studies in CHWS. Then, it was until form 3/4 (I forgot), we started to mix together and get along quite frequently because of two reasons. One is because of Lau Si Ying, who joined the set Dear and become a pseudo-member. The second reason is of cause Kang Kang and Dino Egg's gossips. Come to think about it, I dint go for same tuition classes with you before, right? Well, at least not in the same group before. Erm, maybe once or twice in Mr. Tan En Jin's classes... I couldn't remember now.. Brain stucked

Ok, here comes the college part. By the time we (me and NWK) chose to enroll in Taylor's College in the last minute, we couldn't find any accommodation anywhere near the college. Then, we heard about Dino Egg's apartment and Li Ching's withdrawal. And then, Long story short, we all lived under the roof of 120-E. This is the time when we all (Me, CM, NWK, Eric Goh and Dino Egg) became real close friends together with Lim Sze Yin, the partial 120-E resident.

This is Ah May. She always said she very chio one... Chio or not? I'll let the readers decide.

This is also the time when most of the funny happenings occurred. We always grouped together and stalked on kang and dino egg (the only couple in 120-E). We went to the same gym, Fitness First. Back then, CM was such an active Yoga Class attendant that she even practiced (wanna show off she can 'bridge')yoga at home. After gymming, we would all together went for dinner (Small 2 and Sea Ham - Mek Yin's favourite) followed with lok lok in the pasar malam street. Everyday eat so much, no wonder cannot slim during A levels time.

Although living away from hometown, ah May can be still considered as a 'kuai lui'. She likes to stay inside the house at night, wearing her pregnant woman clothes. No clubbing de unlike me and kang kang, whole day 'pou' CC. The most 'bu kuai' thing she had ever did during 120-E time is probably the morning when she simply let the plumber come into our house while we all still sleeping (120-E residents wake up time is around 12-1pm during weekends) and till now, she still argue that incident is purely illusion.

When talk about Chiew May, of cause nobody would overlook the fact that she is a damm pro shopping queen. This is also the first time I realized the 'dahsyat-ness' of a girl when comes to shopping. Piles of clothes were seen everywhere in her room and sometimes in the living room of 120-E (wardrobe got no more space to put the clothes then have to put on the floor la.. ah bo?). Wanna have an idea of how big is a pile? Well, I would say it is big enough to sit on it just like a couch. Oh ya, and also the shoes. 120-E has probably the most shoe per house around the whole My Place Apartment which is around 50-60+ pairs. More than half of them belongs to CM, of coz. I can still remember the amazed expression by some of the 120-E guests.

"Just how many people was living in this house actually?"

This is always the first question we were asked after they saw the shoes.

Ah May in her batik thingi. Well, according to my understanding of what she wrote in her blog. The reason she bought this thingi is solely because of that small ribbon at the back of the shirt... I was like OMG, so imagine that in future, she likes a particular dress so much that she will end up buying the whole shop. Well, actually what I wanna point out in this picture is that I dont think this is something people say fat lo... at least for me lo.. Then why everyday still bising bangor about nak slim so much. If nok slim sangat, makanla dulu, dok makan mane ade lemak nak diet.

And now, after A levels, I came to Melbourne and she went to Sheffield, UK. I know we wont be seeing each other as often as before because of the holidays timing. But still we have Internet and MSN, so it wouldnt be very hard for us to see each other. Well, at least for me. You like to camwhore so much. Simple go anywhere also can see your picture and I am still doubting that my laptop is totally free of your pictures by now. Your pictures are worse than computer virus.... No matter you delete them, there are still remnants somewhere in my laptop.

Okla, I write a lot dy... lazy liao.. Wanna stop dy... Coz 'chicken' very fan.. In MSN keep on berkokok...

So lastly, I would like to wish Ah May luck for studying in Sheffield. Hope that you will graduate with flying colours and then become a chio lawyer. By that time, don't forget about me arr... I want your help arr in future cause you know la... significant people like me sure got a lot of people like to sue me one unlike the insignificant 'chicken'...

Hahaha.. I knew everyone was complaining about the lack of updates. It is not that I am busy or anything but I just don't have the feeling of blogging (lazy). So, I would like to apologize to my avid readers (if any). Thanks for your support.

For readers' convenience, I think I will just make a summary of whats happened to me and whats am I thinking lately in points form. There won't be any fancy pictures around so dont start whining after reading this post. (which I doubt)

• Mid-sem tests are coming and I still havent finish studying. (there is still a lot that need to be taken care of, wish me luck)
• Never fail to sleep during any Data Analysis lectures since the first day till now. The lectures are plain boring and the lecturer doesnt joke at all. Everytime when I try to concentrate more on the lecture, the faster I would fall asleep. If anyone has some kind of tricks not to fall asleep during lectures, please share it with me.
  
• I am mood-dependent, when studying but not chatting or playing. Haizzz..
• Apart from the boringness and the theory of ice age coming soon, I am pretty much satisfied with my 'Introduction of climate changes' lectures. I learned a lot from it and it changes my way of thinking. For example, if somebody said this species of crop need very little water to grow, then would you think thats great because we have more clean water to use? No, this is not happening because people would grow more of that crop to maximize the profit, the overall usage of water isn't even decreasing and might be increasing.
  
• Lesson : Dont trust a sentence fully because there will always be hidden truth behind it.
  

• Enough of studies, lets talk about something more personal.
• My day usually starts when I sleep because my dreams are just too weird. Pack of actions and stupidity. I think it reflects my inner childish-ness well. P/S : Yesterday i got an extraordinary dream again but not going to talk about it here or else people would think that I am lunatic. Ask me personally if you want some stupid stories to fill your free time.
• My weight is still increasing steadily and has no sign of dropping. This maybe a good thing or a bad thing. I don't know but time will tells.
• My chatting to talking ratio is like 10 : 1 lately.
• I like absolute silence. Sometimes, even music can be a noise pollution for me.
• For anyone who is still concerning about my behatred housemate, IT is still alive, unfortunately, 7 packets of instant noodles still have'nt kill it yet !
• I am starting to hate my hair which I had trouble managing it now. It is not long enough to be trimmed yet but it is just naughty. Gel or not makes no difference.
• Surfing youtube has been a daily routine for me. I just love the show 'Kang Xi Lai Le'. Xiao S is just plain mean and sacarstic and Kang Yong is so smart in manipulating the words.

• Now, for my friends:
• Congratz Chiew May for receiving an unconditional offer from the Uni she had dream of. She will be departing later in this month to UK. I guess it will be quite some time till we met again but dont worry, we will not forget you when we are eating Mok Long kepok in Goat's Island end of this year.
  
• Happy birthday for both JinSern and Ting yue. I knew its yesterday but I still got wish hor.. and I dedicated a sentence for you two hor... although I know both of you don't read my blog.
  
• And lastly, for Shang Neng, I know you will be going to UK soon too. So, take care. I don't really want to know the reason behind your decision because I know I will never understand ur logic. Oh ya, in case in future, when we meet again and I couldn't recognize you, dont forget to turn ur back facing me cause I think I can recognize ur back better. hahaha..
• Another lastly, for Song Jie, you are going to UK too, right? Then, take care (I mean it). Winter is coming. I guess everyone is more worrying about you than Neng. He can walks around his dorm with just a piece of plastic leaf on but if that was you, you had probably been blown to the pacific ocean. Don't worry about that 38 president in Perth, I will make sure she has the most miserable life everyday. Muahahah..
  

Ok, thats it for this time. Till I decided to write again (who knows when, maybe next year chinese new year.. Hahaha)

First week of Semester 2

I found my naughty handphone-pc cable. It is hiding under my clothes in my wardrobe. Dont ask me why it would end up there cause even I cant explain that to myself. Notty, notty.

My uni had just started not long ago. Just 1 week, to be precise. Well, new semester, new timetable so I had to start all over again, accommodating to the timetable. I had 5 study days per week. That means everyday got class la. Plus, I think my credit hours had increased by 1 more hour compared to last sem.


Pictures taken during my walk back home after my one and only lecture - Data analysis on Tuesday. Its a 3pm lecture... zzz... Most of the trees still 'botak' .. Winter isnt over yet...

The subjects I enrolled in during this semester are biology - genetics and evolutions, chemistry, Maths - Data Analysis and Introduction to climate changes as breadth (junk) subject.

The biology I study this sem will be focused on genetics. All the DNA and ATCG stuffs. For me, it is a rather interesting subject cause I had always interested in genetics. Genetics - this word might sounds frightening cause its like a new technology that had just been discovered in this last 100 years. But bluntly put, its just another study that goes hand in hand with sexual reproduction. So people, be more active during the night if not the geneticists had no job to do. Haha...

Instead of linear algebra, I chose Data Analysis because my maths really sucky and most importantly, I am lazy to do maths anymore. =P. In fact, I slept during the first lecture (this is also the first lecture of first day of Sem 2) because it is just plain boring. Our lecturer (who has a chinese name harder to pronounce than mine) is really a pro hypnotizer. Apart from his boring talk, he likes to write down a lot of unnecessary things like 'stem and leaf plot' as if we do not know how to spell the word.

Regarding my junk subject - Intoruction to climate changes, I had 3 lectures so far and all of them are concerning GLOBAL WARMING!!! First lecture was introduction and a case study of Hurricane Katrina. 2nd lecture was given by a physic lecturer on physics theory behind the disaster and we watched dvd - 'An Inconvenient Truth' for the whole third lecture. Overall, it doesnt appear to be as boring as what I anticipated. I feel like an environmentalist now. Ahaha. Will fight for our environment....someday..

I think I overtrained

It has been 3 days since my back training and it is still aching today. My recovery ability has definitely gone downhill. This is not a good sign. By the way, I had chest training yesterday, so now I am having ache in both in front and behind =.= I think I overtrained.

While browsing through the net, I found the definition of overtraining. Apparently, overtraining occurs when the volume and intensity of an individual's exercise exceeds their recovery capacity. The main cause is of cause insufficient sleep but I dont think I have this problem since its holidays now and I had been sleeping like a wooden log these few days (with exception yesterday when my %$^@&%# housemate did his room-keeping at 4am)

Second reason is due to extreme intensity of exercise. Hahahahaha. There is no way this would be the cause. When come to exercise, I am the slow and steady type. Even Tom aka my PT told me to push harder, to the limit. Yea, right. One session with him = A trip to hell. Damn tired (Till today, I still think somebody paid him to kill me)

Then the only reason left is due to the diet. Diet ar? ermmm.. The only place where my diet could goes wrong is probably the carbohydrate part. After more readings, I confirmed the cause - GI too low. Apparently, high GI is essential for recovery cause it replenishes the glycogen store and will trigger a lot of $^#%!&#@! mechanism which will then bla bla bla... Ok whatever. I decided to have more high GI carbs from now on.

I guess I will start with a nice dessert. How about strawberries with Nutella? or pancakes with Nutella? or just Nutella itself? hahaha. Its all ayam's fault. Everyday influence people with his Nutella-ish talks.

Ok back to the overtraining part, whats the big deal about overtraining? It doesnt sound very bad arrr. Well, as far as I know, it can leads to increased resting heart rate, blood pressure, loss of appetite, sleep disturbances (Ulquiorra: just kill that pest and surely you wont have this trouble anymore), emotional instability, hormone disturbance (causing the release of stress hormone-cortisol which somehow related to fatness), elevated basal metabolic rate, frequent injuries, decreased performance...... and so on.

Well, I guess the octopus is changing into an ant. Craving for sweets. FSL gonna hate me for this reason. HAHAhahaha..

I finished my exams today. 27th of June, the very last day of the whole exam period in University of Melbourne. I am so lucky to get the last shift on the last day on my first semester...

My last paper was on 17th so there was 10 days in between and I actually declare holidays myself right after I finished my paper on the 17th.

Today exam is about my Food for Healthy Planet subject. Just like the name of the subject, the subject is pretty dumb and useless which I often called it the junk subject. It is also where I learned about some very basic food nutritions, global warming and Biotechnology.

Apparently, one of the major cause for global warming is due to methane gas. It is 20 times stronger than carbon dioxide in heat absorption. What is so stupid about this fact is that the main source of methane production is ruminants. Ruminants mean grass eating animals which have more than 1 stomach like cows and sheep. When digesting the grass,methane is produced and is released to the atmosphere when the animal *BURPS*. Ok, it sounds stupid but the burps of animal are account for global warming. In conclusion, everyone should reduce their red meat intake, so less cows or sheep are breed, less methane gas, less global warming effect.

Anyway, today exam is an open 'PAPER' exam where the candidates get to bring in one A4 paper full with notes both in front and behind into the exam hall. Since the space provided is limited, every students had tried their best in squeezing in as much notes as possible into that A4 paper. This is how my paper look like....

I tried to focus but my writings are really too tiny for my camera phone.

Hmmm... Maybe I should framed it or something. Its a masterpiece. Dont you think so?

1. I can't do well in my calculus even I practice a lot. Purposely talk bout this because I just had my calculus exam today... DENG !!
2. I can't sit still and study for more than half an hour except the day before the real exam where I can sit down and study non-stop for 10 hours.
3. I dream about 5 days a week when I am sleeping.
4. None of my dream is normal. Often got chased by mutant cow, aliens, hunters, weird plant, ghosts, clones and homunculus.
5. Able to distinguish between dream and reality even though I was sleeping. It was 2 months ago when I had a dream where I was preparing to cook soup. The alarm (my handphone.. in real life) rang suddenly and inside my dream, I heard the alarm and I knew I had to wake up BUT... I got a small problem here... I havent put onions into my pot..OMG.. this soup is terrible without onions.. So, I quickly grab a knife, cut it into four, dumped them into the pot and wake up...
   
6. I think I spend too much time on msn chatting everyday.
7. I still think human cannot possibly invent time machine in future... because if they do, they would travel back in time and tell us... LOL
8. For me, my blanket and comforter is regarded as something holy but too sad, I only manage to bring the comfoter to Melb. Next time must bring along my blanket.
   
9. I like to wrap myself with the comforter and walk around in the house.
10. And yes, I use blanket and comforter together when I am sleeping.. The thicker comforter is used to cover my legs and the thinner blanket is used to cover my upper body.. Different thickness to adjust the temperature.
11. I am temperature sensitive as positive temperature changes can wake me up from my deep slumber.
12. I rather chat on msn than talking.

Randomness

Just finished my Biology exam just now.. Its an 3 hours paper and I spent around 2 hours to finish everything except the first essay question asking about the difference between bacteria and archaeans. Seriously, I dunno what is the difference..... But nevermind, I got 1 hour to think how to 'sien ka'... So basically I just listed out the features of bacterias..

I couldn't say it is a tough paper because it is not really tough.. judging from the amount of students that left early (including me).

The format of the exam paper is also very 'different'. Part A consists of 40 MCQ questions. Part B and C are FILL IN THE BLANKS with choices available provided below (I thought this format is gone forever after secondary school). Part D is the essay question. Each point given by students is worth 2 marks (wth, even A level students need more than a single point to get 2 marks).

After the exam, I realised that I shouldn't 'telan' the whole semester of Biology facts together with the previous A-level stuffs blindly (which I usually do for every Bio exams previously). At least not for Biology exams in Melb Uni. This is because I read so much details that overtax my brain and the details were not asked during the exams.

Oh ya, some of the lecturers 'main busuk'. They put in questions that are supposed to be 'not in the syllabus' into the exam. I thought the details of T lymphocytes and B lymphocytes are not necessary but yet they came out in the exams. Luckily though, I managed to find the answer from deep of my brain.

Yesterday, I was still joking with Phuung with the bio terms and terminology like myrmecophage, fruigiphage, granivore and folivore. (Don't ask me for details... I dont really know even after the exams) THEY REALLY DID COME OUT IN THE EXAM AND SOME OF THE FILL IN BLANKS QUESTION ARE LIKE THIS :

The food eaten by 'some kind of animal which I forgotten the name' (which is usually_____) travels down the oesophagous and bla bla bla....

Ok, so now I am expected to know what does the 'some kind of animal which I forgotten the name' have for their meals... How on earth will I know what they eat when I dont even know what are they in the first place !!!!

Then I glanced through the options available, the only two things that appear seem to be most likely sources of food are LEAVES & GRASS.... WTF, is there really any significance difference in this?? MY GOODNESS. This question is PURE STUPIDITY.

Evacuation

Due to the fact that the department of Chemistry is undergoing renovation now, all the students have to share the building with the construction workers. The noises were everywhere and so loud. Tik tik tok tok.. yii ngek yii ngek.. Kong kong kong.. This is what we heard all the time. To make things worse, our demonstrator is an indian and he is 'big tongue' (Ulquiorra: da se tou). So basically I do not really understand what he said most of the time.

We were doing experiment 4 yesterday, while other groups did either experiment 3/5/6. Cause all of the groups were doing different experiment, so the chemicals and apparatus available in the lab were a lot - liquid nitrogen and a lot of highly volatile flammable chemicals.

Suddenly, something wrong somewhere and the electric supplies were cut out. So, all the fume hoods stop operating and the head demonstrator told us to leave everything behind and evacuate immediately. Oh no! I think the lab is going to explode...(Ulquiorra: you were hoping so hard to see it explode that time)



During evacuation, I still manage to take picture although there was a chance where the lab explode..HAHAhaha.. (Ulquiorra: the lab want explode liao la, you still busy taking picture.. you will surely die one day because of this...)( Nevermind lo, when I become ghost, I will go find ows & pys and then blame them de..)


' Do not stand here, its dangerous. Go to the lawn opposite!' said the demonstrator. OK, the lab is going to blow off now... hahaha and everyone was having all kinds of reaction.

'When will the lab explode? I am so excited'
'My bags.... No!!!...'
'Lab canceled today..Hooray..Let's go home'
'.......' *praying with the eyes shut*

Anyway, we got back into the lab after standing at the opposite lawn and 'makan angin' for 1 hour. All of us got the chance to bring our reports back home, finish it and hand it in next week. Hahaha.. Its a good thing afterall...
