Things That I Hate

*Not in order*
  • A basin of unwashed dishes coupled with oily frying pan and used sticky pot on the stove - Self explainable
  • My towel which has a different smell other than mine- Self explainable
  • Odd number eggs - I eat two eggs at once but if only one egg is left at the end, should I eat it or not, or should I go out just to buy eggs so I would have 2 eggs but still the number is odd. Eating 3 eggs at once sounds so menge-cholesterol-kan. This is what I mean.
  • Human other than me touches my bed especially my comforter - Its holy.
  • The extra thin wall in my apartment - No privacy. Plus, the music beside is so loud and sometimes coupled with the terrible singing. How to sleep leh?
  • Smoke - Its smelly, toxic, irritating, carcinogenic and might trigger the smoke alarm. (5 points, 2 marks each so total 10 marks for an essay question)
  • Jamban with a few drops of yellow stains on the sitting piece - Every girls would hate you for this. Not to mention the guys who are going to dispose the waste product of the digestive tract.
  • Creatures such as leeches in Kuala Berang and flies in Melbourne.

What The .....

What the hell ??!! - This is my first thought when I saw this stupid note stuck at my door early in the morning before I went to uni. I am definitely not the one who will be so 'wu liao', throw rubbish out of the windows and the opening of the window is so small that only certain rubbish (approximately 50cmx20cmx4cm) are able to barely squeeze through the pathetic opening.

Wait a minute... Ok.. Let's say the rubbish did really been thrown out of my window by somebody to the street below. How on earth did they find out about this? They installed CCTV outside my window? Thinking of this makes me sweat... a lot... So there is a possibility that some other CCTV are also installed somewhere in my house la. @.@

All these questions had been puzzling me for the whole day until I went back to my apartment. Then, the guy living in the same unit as me a.k.a housemateku yang amat dibenci told me that every unit facing the street had the same notices stuck to each of their door, not just ours. Again my face shows the impression 'wtf' !! Smart ass la..

Saturday Morning

I woke up 10.30 in the morning. Not really early though. However, since Chiew May was complaining for the lack of pictures, so I decided to post some pictures, reflecting my life in Melbourne. In the mean time bring you all go 'kai kai'. Hehe... faster thank me! By the way, this is the first time I took so much pictures by using my handphone.

This is the view out the window from my so called 'house'. Why is it so called 'house'? Will be discussed in the next post. Or maybe next next.

This is Melbourne Central. One of the two shopping complexes around the town where most people and students will go.

This is La Trobe Apartment, where I's currently staying. I lived on the 7th floor. Count yourself if you want to know my exact location. This picture was taken at Melbourne Central. Now, lets go shopping.

This is the inside of Melbourne Central. Actually it is not a very big shopping complex, considered it has the size similar to Sunway Pyramid. Lets take a view from a higher position.

Stupid words obstructing my view. At the opposite side, there is a cinema named Hoyts. The tickets are having the same prices with the one in Malaysia. Same numbers but not the currency. What I mean is like RM 10 and $10. So far, I havent watch any movie yet in any cinema around Melbourne.

This picture kind of blur hor.. But cant be helped though cause it was taken by me while running on a treadmill. You all really think I so good meh? Early morning bring all of you go 'long kai'. Actually I am going to work out in the gym la.

Dear ex-residents of 120E, are the equipments look familiar to you? Of cause they do because the gym I went is Fitness First.

This is my membership card. Quite keng one cause got microchip or whatsoever in it. The lockers are electronic lockers and can only be locked and unlock using this card.

Now, Chiew May sure want to laugh at me. I can imagine she says : ' Wah, miss Fitness First so much until go to Melbourne also join FF.' Hahaha, I not really miss it la but consider that its so near to my house (cross one street, enter Melbourne Central, take elevator to 4th floor), maybe it is not that bad after all. However, this gym is obviously bigger than the one we used to go in Subang Jaya one a lot lo...

Wah, I blog till very hungry now. So, have to stop here and go have something to eat first. Huh, this time got really a lot of pictures liao. Enough dy la... lazy want to upload liao..

Finally Online

Hi long time no see... How are you all? This is my first post after I came to Melbourne. Finally i got my own connection. So from now on, I will be active online again.

New places, new problems. I had been dealing with all kinds of problems these days. They actually caused me a lot of stressful moments. One of the major problem that had just been solved was getting an internet connection. At first, I was planning to apply for mobile broadband. So I went to the shop and make an information enquiry. The shopkeeper told me that the materials needed for registration are passport, student id and a bank account.

The next day, I went to the school bank and open a bank account. After waiting for few days, the debit card finally reached my hostel via mail. I was quite happy thinking that I could finally online later. However, when i went back to the shop, the shopkeeper stated that visas were also needed. I quickly rushed home and took my visas. Then, the shopkeeper told me that I need a bank statement to prove the validity of my address.

Another visit to the school bank again on the next day and I asked the staff there to issue me a bank statement. Then, she asked me whether I want it on the spot or wait a few days for it to be posted to my home. The difference is the latter one is free but not the first option. Out of impatient-ity, of cause, I chose the first option. Then, the staff printed me a TRANSACTION LISTING. Read properly. Its a transaction listing, not a bank statement. After receiving the useless sheet of paper. I tried to pay her, thinking that this service is not free but she denied.

After that, I went back to the shop with the transaction listing and was rejected with the reason : Only bank statement will be accepted. Feeling rather disappointed, I went to the other bank branch in the city and requested for another bank statement. This time, I chose to wait for the bank statement to be posted to my home, understanding that sometimes, things just cant be rushed.

Three days passed and finally I received my bank statement. Just as I thought I will not have any problems anymore, the shopkeeper told me that my application cannot be passed become there is no proof of income. He said I should wait till my parents bank in my pocket money into the bank ( transaction of money into my account ) and requested for ANOTHER bank statement showing that transaction history. Then, everything should be OK.

My goodness.....

Today, I went to the university bookshop and bought the wireless card. Plugging it into my laptop and after a few minutes of setup, here I am !!! Blogging !!!
